The hijabs from Awra come with the absolute worst customer service imaginable. If you dare to try and return one of their ridiculously priced hijabs, it feels like you’re doing something illegal. These folks clearly lack any customer relationship skills. Just take a peek at how they respond when someone criticizes them.

I bought this hijab that cost a pretty penny. The colors seemed bright and lively. But when it arrived, the shade was definitely not what I expected from the picture. I was really let down. After taking a closer look at the hijab, I felt so frustrated with myself because I realized I could whip up a similar one with the tie-back headband for way less cash. I thought about sending it back, but then I decided to pass it on to my daughter-in-law. Honestly, these hijabs are just way too pricey. There's no way they’re worth that amount. I found some gorgeous fabric myself and crafted a lovely xxlarge flowy hijab along with the outer headband. I got tons of compliments! Folks were shocked I made it myself. Ladies, you can totally create these hijabs on your own. I’m planning to make more and sell them at a much better price. Plus, I’ve decided that for reverts, they can pick 3 hijabs of their choice for just £2.00 each. In shaa Allah Bismillah. Just way too costly and definitely not worth that kind of cash.

I made my first purchase from Awra, treating myself to a couple of scarves. This was the first time I was ready to spend a good amount on a scarf. One of the scarves I got was called Ombre Play It Cool. After wearing it twice, I decided to give it a wash since it seemed delicate. I followed the washing instructions carefully, hand-washing it at a normal temperature. But as I was cleaning it, the black dye started to bleed out so much that it was tough to keep it from smudging onto the lighter parts of the scarf. It completely ruined the piece, and there was a ton of black dye in the sink. I was really let down. I reached out to Awra to explain what happened, and I was taken aback by their reply. They questioned my washing method, even after I detailed how I did it. Their second email was just a repeat of the first. Instead of owning up to the issue with their product, they chose to blame me for washing it incorrectly. I even sent them photos of the scarf, but that didn’t seem to matter. They just didn’t seem to care. The customer service was really poor, and I wouldn’t recommend buying from them unless you want to risk your scarf turning out like mine. There’s a slim chance it might not be the same quality as the others, and Awra won’t be willing to help; they’ll just point fingers because that’s the easy way out.
